Dr.
Evan Calkins…. “It is a joy to see that, after 25 years, the Network
in Aging is still carrying out the mission conceived by our founders
– an ongoing forum for exchange of ideas, mutual education and collaboration
among a wide range of individuals and organizations concerned with
the needs of older neighbors. The range of disciplines represented
in our membership, and of the organizations that continue to serve
as our sponsors, reflects our success in achieving this goal.
What
has been the reason for our success? I believe it has three components:
The importance and worth of our area of concern, the diversity
of our membership and the desire of our members to learn from
each other and the quality of leadership that has come forth over
the years.
