2007 Recipient - David Dunkelman
David has made a career of helping others. He chose a meaningful career in long-term care because he discovered it had the right com- bination of complexity, administration, and community involvement.
After receiving a Political Science degree from Miami of Ohio, David spent a year traveling along through 26 countries and three war zones using public transportation where he met people of all ages, race and backgrounds.
After returning to the US, he earned a law degree from Temple University Law School; a Master’s of Science where he concentrated in Long-Term Care Administration at the University of North Texas; and a certificate in Creative Problem Solving from SUNYAB. He is currently pursuing course work toward a doctorate in sociology.

of JSI, Inc., a national distributor of apparel. In 1984, David became the
Assistant Director of the Rosa Coplon Jewish Home, the forerunner to Weinberg
Campus. Later, he was appointed President and Chief Executive Officer of
Weinberg Campus. David has guided the development of Weinberg Campus, which
