Robert Wills, MBA, CFP ®Wow, as I prepare this quarter's newsletter and am looking out the window, there is still a coating of white-stuff on the ground. But we all know that change is in the air and soon daffodils, crocuses, and tulips will be poking through the ground and the aromas of spring plentiful!
Before we say good bye to winter, I would like to thank the following organizations for hosting "Network with the Network" events during this quarter.
February was a month to remember with Hogin Willig and Dengler, Roberts, Perna Funeral Home co-hosting our first event. We had the opportunity to tour the Hogan Willig complex and see firsthand what a state of the art "Green" building looks and feels like. There was great opportunity to network and learn more about these fine organizations.
Niagara Lutheran, Family Choice of New York, and Health System Services were our hosts in March. We were treated to an early bird breakfast along with very useful information on "The Ins and Outs of Coverage" presented by Health System Services and Family Choice of New York. Thank you Niagara Lutheran to your warm hospitality at your Hager Street facility.
Thank you education committee for all your planning and dedicated work. In January they orchestrated a very well attended event at the Amherst Senior Center entitled "Entitlement Benefits for Older Adults". Snow did not stop this year's 11th "Annual Town Hall Meeting" at the Cheektowaga Center for Senior Services.
This year's Post-Holiday Social was back at Salvatore's Italian Gardens. The special events committee is to be commended for a first class job. Thank you all who made generous dona-tions to "Heart, Love, and Soul".
Can you identify the folks in the photo below? If your answer is Dr Ken Garbarino and Dr. Evan Calkins you are correct. Dr. Ken Garbarino is accepting the "Evan Calkins Meritorious Service Award" from Dr Calkins at our 2000 annual meeting.
Thank you past Network leaders and members for successfully navigating the Network over the past 30 years and calling new Network leaders and members to chart our course for the next 30 years!
