Workshop on Aging and Livability – 9/12/17

Workshop on Aging and Livability – 9/12/17

Network in Aging and AARP-NY Present Workshop on Aging and Livability

As our population ages and people live longer, communities must adapt to facilitate the inclusion of older adults and enhance quality of life for residents of all ages.  Well-designed, livable communities promote health and sustain economic growth, provide opportunities to remain active and connected, and make happier, healthier residents of all ages.  Communities locally, across the United States, and throughout the world are beginning to engage in activities that emphasize changes to both the built and social environment in an effort to improve the livability for their age 50+ residents and their families.
